Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐The book asks hundreds of questions, but fails to answer most of them, or provides cryptic math formulas without showing how the math can be applied. A frustrating ,superficial and disappointing book.
⭐In our book-based instruction of math, there are some sources for math extensions, but it seems they’re often mindlessly frilly or so involved or esoteric that most students are buried clueless and consequently uninterested. The Bolt and Hobbs book has quite a variety of interesting and possible (can do) excursions. Often the projects are couched in the modern English culture, so they are fun for American kids to read–but completely understandable. This book would fit a wide range of interests and math abilities. A good book gift for teachers and kids who like to read and investigate.
