⭐ I liked the format of the book, it was easy to see, the list of footnotes at the back helped to understand references that I didn’t know, and the introduction in the front of the book, which suggested that I read the book first before looking at the next section was good advice, even though I had read this book many times before! It is a book that I will continue to reread!

⭐ I bought three copies of this for a “Favorite Things” party (quite fun – Google it) and they arrived with the minimal wear of being read once or twice. I did buy it straight from the product page, and not used from a third party seller, but there was color wear, cover bending, etc, that indicated these were lightly used copies. I didn’t mind too much and won’t send them back, as they were so cheap (and because pre-loved books have a kind of magic) but I wanted to write this review so you’re aware of what you’re getting.

⭐ I’m a bit let down by the condition the book came in. I was expecting a new looking book and it came kinda damaged and worn out, I don’t know if it was the way it was package that caused the scratches (because it was loose in the box) or if it was like that from the start, I thought I was paying for a new book in a good condition. Still I’m happy with it, even though I wanted it to look nice on the outside, the story inside it’s not affected by it.

⭐ Estoy leyendo “El laberinto de los espíritus” de Carlos Ruiz Zafón; Alicia Gris, es el personaje principal y este es su libro preferido. Me animé a comprarlo y a leerlo.Genial!

⭐ The notes in the back help explain the phrases we no longer have, ties to stories I didn’t know that give context to the comment, and the translations from French. I hated the book in High school, but I’m loving it as an adult!

⭐ I thoroughly enjoyed reading this classic novel and look forward to finding more such treasures.

⭐ Book looked lovely was unable to keep do to the fact someone else bought the exact same one for the person I was gifting.

⭐ Arrived damaged. It was packaged very well, so I don’t think it was a shipping issue.

⭐ Beautiful collector’s edition of a classic book.
