⭐Prof.Dr. Ugo Amaldi, President of Tera Foundation, creator of Cyclinac and he has also saved lives with the establishment of the Centro Nazionale di Adroterapia Oncologica (CNAO) in Italy. So, he is a great man, worthy of belonging to the Nobel Club. His book: Amaldi Ugo (2015) Particle Accelerators: From Big Bang Physics to Hadron Therapy, Springer, is excellent, a must for those working in hadrontherapy. I fully recommend this book.

Unisce chiarezza e sintesi tipica di chi conosce profondamente un argomento e sa comunicarlo a coloro che sono ancora tabula rasa.Un libro da acquistare e regalare per diffondere il mondo dell’ Adroterapia che altrimenti anche tra coloro che si occupano di oncologia non è argomento noto e dibattuto.L’autore, grande fisico nucleare che lavorò sin dal 1960 al CERN di Ginevra che il padre Enrico, uno dei ragazzi di via Panisperna coordinati da Enrico Fermi, contribuì a progettare.Grazie ad Ugo Amaldi si è promossa l’iniziativa di creare un centro per l’Adroterapia dei Tumori che è il CNAO di Pavia; la più grande macchina per terapia con ioni carbonio al mondo.Leggete il libro. E’ scorrevole ed interessantissimo.
