⭐This book is extremely well written. Contrary to many modern mathematical texts the authors choose to develop the subject matter from special to general. So the text is well motivated. The authors develop some very sophisticated mathematics using very concrete language.A caution for the would be reader this is NOT an easy book if you are looking for an elementary introduction however it is fun to read.

⭐Very nice product. Paper back, easy to read.

⭐This book is wonderful… There is a large portion of geometric intuition on varieties that this book provides that have made learning about dual varieties and descriminants fascinating. As a word of caution though, this book is somewhat densely packed information-wise, and has no exercises – so while really interesting, for initially learning about algebraic geometry, you’re probably going to want to have supplementary materials.
