⭐I like this book a lot!!! I strongly recommend it to readers who are working on (or simply interested in) finite element method, computational electromagnetics or antenna design/simulation. This book completely covers the state-of-the-art developments in the FEM analysis of antenna and arrays in both the time and frequency domains. Starting from the basic formulations of FEM, its chapters includes all necessary steps and details you will need to know in order to apply the FEM to perform various kinds of analysis and simulations of antenna and arrays. Step by step, the books lead to you to appreciate and learn about the beauty of the FEM and how powerful this numerical method can be. In addition, many advanced and up-to-date topics have been covered, such as domain decomposition techniques, hybrid methods, antenna platform analysis, etc. The book also provides a lot of valuable advices and experience about practical applications and consideration in antenna simulation. It allows reader not only see trees but also see the entire forest! The book is very well-written and well-organized. All the technical contents have been covered in detail and arranged and stated in a very clear and easy-to-understand way so that both beginners and experienced researchers can find it very useful. I believe it is an indispensable textbook/reference for anyone who is working on (or simply just interested in) finite element method, computational electromagnetics or antenna design/simulation. For beginners, i suggest them to pair this books with another excellent book also written by the first author (Dr. J.-M Jin) ”
⭐” which provides detailed contents about fundamental knowledge in FEM as well as advanced analysis and applications.
