    User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Instructors and Students alike please read this before you purchase. This is a first edition textbook with more errors and silly mistakes than should be acceptable. What was most infuriating was that this books questions and l solutions do not always correspond. For example you will get a question and all length units are in meters, however when you go look for the answer, all the units are in feet. Or, in a more severe case which inspired me to write this review, you can easily see where typos were made and how additional numbers get added where they are not needed. Last example, the question said the pressure at point A was 20kPa and his solution he uses 120kPa. Although this is not detrimental to my education, I can see how frustrated one might become after attempting these questions just to see they are wrong and not be able to understand that it isn’t their mistake, it’s the authors. I spent an hour trying to figure out what I did wrong only to get an email from my professor stating that I was in fact correct and the book was wrong. I’m sorry for the spiel, I just hope someone will read this and reconsider before using this textbook for their course.

⭐The information was well structured. However this book did not have nearly enough problems solved completely with all the steps explained. The information is reasonable but it would have been a lot easier to grasp if the author had done a few problems from each section completely out with explanations for every step.

⭐The sections are very easy to read and the material is presented in a way that actually makes sense. This book also comes with a ton of problems and the examples actually help you learn the material. This is the best Hibbeler textbook I have used so far.

⭐But the practice problems are not the same as the USA version

⭐This version is NOT color printed. Not to mention the book arrived full of dents all over.

⭐Good global version, color printed. The only thing that bothers me is that all the problems in the end of chapter are in different sequence from the ones of the non-global pricey version of this book.

⭐I paid less for this book than most of my others and it came in perfect condition.

⭐Terrible book. By the third chapter you know EXACTLY how the book is going to end. Too predictable.

    ⭐Old stock

⭐Very good text book. Solving all problems in book will be helpful. It helps students to develop conceptual understanding which will enable them to solve any question in competitive exams

⭐Fundamentals very nicely explained, default by hibeller. Print and paper quality also decent.

⭐Asked my prof to look into allowing the whole class to just use this

    ⭐i liked it
