⭐I love Patrul Rinpoche and am so thankful to be exposed to his teachings through the writings he left behind. I love short, pithy wisdom. And, this book fits the bill perfectly. I find it wonderful and inspiring! Definite keeper in my library of Dharma books…enjoy!

⭐Formatting, formatting, formatting. I cannot speak to the “quality” of the translation, because I don’t speak Tibetan! However, I have read many Eastern translations of texts, and to me, it is all about formatting. I LOVE the way the book is set up. It is three sections, that are stand-alone, they don’t need each other, but they work as such an amazing team. First is the main intro and all about the monk, then is the actual poem, then is a section by section breakdown of the poem. It is amazing.Plus, it gives an insight into Buddhist culture that is atypical of the ‘Mainstream” American thought process. I applaud the authors tremendously in their choice of a text to translate.
