⭐clear explanations of probability paradoxes
⭐Book is full of interesting examples that are note worthy of an inquisitive mind,For instance, he mentions the linear thinking that lead people astrayregarding the Birthday Paradox which isn’t a paradox of course and the difference between 100% and 99.99% probability regarding the number ofmatches. Why bother learning probability if it didn’t fascinate ,,if it didn’t vaporize the misconceptions that keep us floundering in the mud of ignorance.Probability has deep meaning in itself and this book delivers a diversity to stimulate and invoke. .The book I bought was second hand and normally I don’t care to touch what other hands have touched but knowledge can’t be denied so I tapedplastic to the covers. The book is sufficiently mathematical but not hard to understand and the author covers many scenarios.Great book.
