    User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐For being a textbook this was an easy read. I was able to understand and follow allowing with the concepts presented. A few more sidebars than I would prefer but all mostly relevant.

⭐I was able to get basics covered in class. Actually took to YouTube explanations of the concepts. So together it worked. Got an A in my class not too bad.

⭐The book provides the material I need for class and all the ages are there, however, it’s a bit worn down.

⭐This book has a strong liberal bias. While Mankiw is a conservative, I don’t detect any conservative bias in his text books. I also find the story telling tone of the textbook makes it harder to follow. Some other textbooks layout the facts, and then substantiate with stories. Starting and ending with stories make it hard to apply a concept in a more generic situation.

⭐Pretty decent book. Does a great job with theory and even applying theory in to reality, which is paramount in economics considering actual free market operations are not conducted in a vacuum.

⭐Rating for the condition and speed of arrival of this book

⭐It’s nice being able to search through it, but I’m planning on buying a physical copy as well. There’s still nothing like holding a big heavy textbook, which is very satisfying indeed! Especially considering the price.

    ⭐Text book. Met requirements

⭐great book to better understand the world of today, text accessible to non-specialists in economics, clear and intelligent.

⭐One of the best introductory Economics texts there is. Introduction to both Micro & Macro economics is covered gracefully. The explanation is very easy to follow. The depth is also quite reasonable. The math is sparse. Personally, I would have preferred a bit more math. The multipliers are explained wherever necessary. But other than that, graphs are used more than math.It doesn’t shy away from some good explanations. For instance, why is AD curve sloping downward? Many books including Dorbusch say its because individual demand curve slopes downward. Here we get a better explanation.I would have loved it if the authors mentioned some follow up books, bibliography. But that is the only qualm. I think there are some errors in the book. Will have to check errata to see if they have been addressed, but it is <1%. Overall, a great work.
