User’s Reviews
Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐I had a lot of fun with this book and got a beautiful perspective on game theory and decision theory. At this price I’d say it’s essential for any statistician or economist to have around.
⭐This book could be described as an overview of Von Neumann’s and Morgenstern’s masterpiece of “Theory of Games and Economic Behavior”. It does a vey good job of this if one is not interested in reading their behemoth of a book. And even if one has read TGEB, or a lot of it, it is still insightful enough to make it worth your while
⭐Best book for game theory
⭐Probably helpful for stats, but advertised as an introduction for psych students so must rate 3 stars for “omg calculus this wasn’t what it said in its ad”
⭐not as easy a read as you might think from the introduction. I have a B.S. in economics yet, I found the math to be too intrusive to get much out of the read.
⭐The book talk in interesting way about the role of the game theory in the actual economy. The arguments are formally very good. The student can make easy the proofs and the applications are clear. I am interesting particullary about cooperative games and I’m sorry that it here lack the relation with the projective geometry.
⭐This book should be on the shelf of anyone interested in the decision sciences. Two of the founding fathers of branch of applied mathematics take us to task in this introduction to the science.
⭐Writing an article
⭐The binding is completely damaged and pages are falling off!
