Reviews from Amazon users, collected at the time the book is getting published on UniedVRG. It can be related to shiping or paper quality instead of the book content:
⭐ This series just keeps on going and brings in new surprises with each book. Bella is a genius at keeping a reader hooked. The only thing I would want different is for them all to be offered in audiobook format as I drive a couple of hours a day and that is usually how I get my book fix. The last one I got on audible is #20 I think. With now she is up to 60 books? Where does she come up with all her material?
⭐ I like this series and will continue to read until it is finished. My only complaint is the books are too short, it’s kind of like watching a weekly series on TV. I would like the books to be longer and a little more developed. She seems to be rushing the closing of each book. Maybe running out of material for the character she is discussing.
⭐ I think it’s great how new characters are introduced. I am a little frustrated that the series seems mysterious because not much information is being revealed. I may take a break from the series as I had a hard time staying interested in this one.
⭐ Of the entire Ben & River set, this was my least favorite book. Usually, Bella’s books last me a day or 2 at the most, but this tome overa week to want to finish. No spoilers, but I feel like she focused too much on Julie and things just keep getting weirder and weirder. Sorry, this one didn’t cut it for me. I hope 23 & 24 are better
⭐ I am so in awe Bella Forrest. She writes with such determination. She gives us so much to read and cliff hangers are great. I enjoy reading all the shade books.
⭐ My wife reads these books. Every wife should be discouraged from reading this series. Since reading these books my wife expects me to have chiseled abs, a mysterious demeanor, and occasionally bite her neck! Bella Forest really needs to take a page out of George R. R. Martin’s writing strategy and take 500 years to write the next installment. In all seriousness I have no idea if these books are good. All I know is that my wife loves to read them and uses my amazon account to purchase them.
⭐ I am looking forward to get on with another novel. Don’t get me wrong I was so rapped up with this series that I read all twenty- two in less that a month. I hate to see the last novel but I am glad to jump to the Dragon series. I like to know what they’ve been up to with the humans in the Shade. Thank you Bella Forrest for the wonderful storytelling.
⭐ Pretty good story, but taking too long to get Ben getting rid of the Elder!
⭐ Another great read in the ASOV series…so much detail to further the intrigue. This book makes you ponder so many captivating scenarios and leaves you wanting to know the outcomes. Oh my I can not wait…..
⭐ This is an ok book. I have read them all, and it only takes a day, and that’s while I’m doing other things. I think these books are more for young adults, but it keeps me going until my favorite authors release books. Reminds me of the Twilight series.
