⭐ ‘A timeless barrier had been broken. Things would never be the same for the human world again.”You can say that again. Now that the secret is out that humans aren’t alone in the world, a whole new world of possibilities has been opened and I for one can’t wait to see where Bella Forrest goes with it! After the epic showdown in the previous book, this book was a bit slower but it was a nice break from the intense action as she sets things up for what is sure to be an awesome finale for Rose & Caleb! This book saw some exciting times for the personal lives of several residents of The Shade, it was nice to see so many of them finding happiness. We also had the return of the dragons as they arrived back at The Shade to take Rose up on her offer of ‘damsels’ for them to romance. I have to say that the addition of the dragons to this series has been a nice touch. I really enjoy these guys and what they asked for upon their return was awesome, so much fun! We also had the start of dealing with the implications of the fact that the human world is now becoming aware of the existence of supernatural beings. Derek & Sofia and Rose & Caleb all had a part in dealing with this fallout and their actions reminded me why I love this crew at The Shade so much! I don’t want to say too much to spoil anything, but I will say that I really enjoyed yet another installment in this series and I am really looking forward to the finale of Rose & Caleb’s story!! Big thanks to the author for not making her readers wait very long to get it!!

⭐ This series is a work of art. Bella’s talent with writing is amazing. Her descriptive writing brings forth the feeling that you are actually standing in The Shade, standing next to these characters witnessing this saga unfold before your own eyes. The series itself I find to be a fun and wholesome story. It’s wholesome in the sense that the adult love/sex moments aren’t detailed, they’re more insinuated. The series is so much fun because in the first book you’re just dealing with vampires, and let’s face it vampire books are a dime a dozen these days, but then your totally caught off guard with Hawks, witches, elders, ogres, werewolves, and dragons!!!!! I can’t wait until July 30, not because that day is my birthday, it’s the release date for book 16!!!

⭐ Book 15 seems to be the calm before the storm, so to speak. Lots of information that makes your mind whirl with ideas and scenarios about what might happen in the next book! Heavenly dragon shifters (I want one, PLEASE!), crazy nut job black witches (holy cow I despise a certain warlock), a new look into one of the creepiest, nastiest characters I’ve ever read about (with a little twist I wasn’t expecting . . . nope, still hate her), even some insight into the absentee Prince of the Shade. Feels like we are in the “eye of the storm” and the next book is going to come in with a ROAR!!! Can’t wait!!! Kudos, Bella!

⭐ I read this book in a couple of days and had a hard time putting it down. I love this series, there were a couple of books that were kind of slow and repeating similar things. This one was different and had a fresh look. I love the fact that the dragons have joined them on the island. The big question is will the black witches win or lose, will Rose and Caleb get married, what will humans do about find out about supernaturals?? I cannot wait to read the last book in this series. I want the happy ever after that all these “people” deserve.

⭐ I started out reading this series I got the free first book from amazon and began reading it with low expectations. Many of the free books I have gotten from Amazon have left a lot to be desired, with the exception of a treasured few. I was pleasantly surprised with this series. I found my self ordering and devouring the next books in the series and sub-series one by one until I had not only caught up but found myself eagerly waiting for the release of the next installment.

⭐ I can’t put it down, just when I think that all is well then something else comes up and I just have to get the next book to see if everyone is OK. It’s only taking me a day to read each book, but they are very well written and I have not found a dull moment yet. These books have something for everyone, those who like vampire, werewolf’s, witches, dragons, mermaids and the list goes on.. Can’t wait to see the actual ending to this series.

⭐ Not another Twilight! These books are fast-paced and exciting. Each book ends with a good cliff-hanger. Of course, I guess these books are listed as romance novel but they are much more. I am not a fan of romance novel unless there is a great story to back up the mushy stuff. These books have a lot of action and a whole array of different beasties plus some strong characters. A good fast read.

⭐ I love the excitement through the book. I also love the part in which there is love even in the vilest creature.

⭐ Who would have thought that Lillith had the capabilities in her twisted, demented heart to love anything! I can’t wait to see what type of man Magnus is, to have held Lillith in such thrall. I love the Dragons also, there is another story that I hope is expanded on, I love the mind of this storyteller, that she keeps the current book so interesting and alludes to other stories that may come out of this later. I love Bella Forrest’s writing!

⭐ This is not one of the best series I have ever read. The writing leaves a lot to be desired but After reading several of the books I felt committed to seeing it through to the end. I was very disappointed when the book that was supposed to end the series only turned out to be ending one part of the story. But it did help me decided that now is the time to quit.
