⭐I think that this amazingly insightful book goes to the core of the dynamic not only of economics, but of the whole commercially commodified culture of western civilization. We must wake up to the fact that all modern persons are but commodities to be bought and manipulated by market forces unless we make the monumental free choice of pushing its domination back through a voluntary alternative culture based on love, mutual respect and community. A culture such as was experienced before the resurgence of commercial-industrialism since the renaissance.
