⭐Thoughtful and thought-provoking little volume. Students of psychology, C.G. Jung, philosophy, ancient mythology and the humanities will find excellent material.Of note are the discussions on intricacies surrounding a Heroic, Beautiful Death (as with warriors in battle, investigates preservation of eternal vigor, postmortem mutilation vs. funereal pyres, etc – beginnings of Christian beatification?)Numerous in depth and fascinating ideas are presented throughout… Even if you know very little of Greek culture, you’ll want to read this book.

⭐This is a must read for those interested in antiquity. He is a great writer and scholar.
