⭐Love this item
⭐Buy this book. Admittedly, this is not a book you read from cover to cover from page one through to page 109, especially if you have a dyslexic mind like my own. But, I do not exaggerate when I say this book has changed my life.Growing up I hated math with a passion. I would open a math book and immediately start yawning, so I know what it means to struggle with math and learning in general.Buy this book, start with what comes easy for you, build confidence and push on. Learning is not a race, it’s a final destination- but you will get there. You won’t be disappointed when you apply the fundamentals tough in this book.
⭐The book is fine for what it is, a handbook to help math phobic people gain number sense and how multiplication and addition are related. If that’s you or you are weak at algebra, have at, I’m sure you will benefit.I wanted a book to help me out with doing math in my head quickly and easily to not necessitate using a pen and paper, but nearly all of the lessons were very much based on writing stuff down in ways that for the most part aren’t much or at all quicker than standard school-taught methods. That said, about 1 in 10 of the lessons/examples were what I wanted and they were presented well. For mental math, however, I think I’ll get more bang out of the various Vedic or “magic” books.
⭐- Filled with information.- You’ll definitely need to write down your hypotheses to help your brain with the answers when it comes to muli-step calculations with different groups of numbers.- You’ll need more books in the field to help with this same issue as you can NOT depend on this one book.
⭐I bought this because I like math and am good at it. I wanted a new prespective on it because I wanted to teach my 4 year old grandson math. I still look through it and enjoy some of the ideas. I am always trying to make math fun and easy for my grandson. He just finished kindergarten, turned six and loves Math. This might be helpful to those who are not good at math by giving you short cuts to help you understand. I thought it was a good book and will use it with my grandson for years to come. Good investment.
⭐It’s a great gift and inexpensive. I sent one to my 9 yr. old grandson, but also to older friends. Always something to learn in this book. I use it for a reference.
⭐I wish I had some of these tools if only to avoid gross slide rule mistakes. I also think that training in the use of an abacus; hence, Kenebop would have been worthwhile even it came from Korea.
⭐The short cut book is a useful tool to give kids can-do attitude in mathematics. Once parents /guardian spends time guiding the child it simplifies calculations.I will recommend for all kids to improve learning and mental development. readable book.
⭐The Dover Books on Mathematics series are great.
⭐Very useful
⭐I have read him before( any e the worlds best books). It’s fine print with NUMEROUS SPECIFIC EXAMPLES per page and no organization whatsoever. So on one or two pages, he deals with multiplying by 25; then dividing by 100, etc. I’d finish say 5-10 pages in an hour and then could t do a single thing. Or could I teach grandkids. Don’t waste your mo eh.
⭐I would recommend everyone to buy this book. It is an excellent book that teaches us to do everyday maths faster. I tried a lot of other shorter maths books and even vedic maths books. At best I got mixed result from those. But this one really helped.
⭐If you’ve had a largely quantitative-based professional training with an average IQ or so but sometimes feel embarrassed because of your inability to do simple sums in your head in split seconds, this book is for you. Very highly recommended…
