⭐On Dirac’s delta “function” (p.14): “This abstract approach [distribution theory] is not difficult, and is much more satisfactory than the conventional expositions given in many quantum mechanics books.” This attitude is representative of this text written by physicists. Clear, concise, and precise. Less focused on math details than Takhtajan, more concise than Hall’s Springer book. More of a focused on practical computations than either of those sources. Big bonus: there is a complete solutions manual available.
