Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I have mental illness and wanted to know what I was dealing with I still haven’t completed it cause some things just didn’t seem right do they really know how to treat mental illness and put it in a book

⭐This review is for the e-book Schizophrenia For Dummies.I purchased this e-book a while back when I had a family member get diagnosed. This book helps you get a good understanding of the disease, what the common symptoms are, and how to deal with the person. What’s interesting is how the symptoms manifest into very similar if not identical situations and stories. This book is a must read for anyone who has a friend or family member dealing with this disease, it helped my sanity.

⭐The book helps you gain a basic understanding of the disease through providing you with what are the common symptoms and how to deal with the individual. Provides some concrete stories. This is a must read for anyone with a friend or family member dealing with this disease,Let’s you know you are not experiencing this disease yourself.

⭐The first couple of chapters talks about the symptoms and signs of schizophrenia. There are a few vignettes in the book, but not many. Most of the book focuses on the treatment and recovery of this debilitating disease, and it appears that the book is written for families of those who suffer and the patients themselves. Overall, it is a good book covering everything you need to know about the illness. I wish there were more vignettes so I could lean about real people who suffer from it and how they recovered.

⭐Great great book even my doctors I’ve been seeing since 1988 haven’t explained what was in these books thank you for sending it to me and helping us deal with schizophrenia which is an ongoing battle daily and Elsa it would help out more people if they knew about it thanks again Happy Holidays be be safe

⭐This is a comprehensive and respectful explanation of schizophrenia, and a good overview of the illness and where to start when looking for treatment.

⭐Good general knowledge. I was hoping for something more geared toward the patient themselves, but this had a good starting point.

⭐thank you!

⭐Very basic, ideal for helping to understand schizophrenia, lacking more in depth info

⭐I’m happy with all aspects of purchase. Top seller! A *****

⭐Good general overview of schizophrenia to help you get to grips with the disease, however if you have a grounding in the subject it does not go into great depth but i don’t think that is expected from a “For Dummies” book. Very pleased with it.

⭐Super good breakdowns if symptoms, helpful ways to deal with a schizophrenic loved one, although not geared so much towards a spouse dealing with their mate. I do recommend this though, especially to families with I’ll ones.

⭐A must book for anybody with a schizofrenic relative. A lot of bulleted content and fat-printed summary hits a very familiar note. If it does not, then you have been spared learning by living it.
