⭐A true must if you’re interested in either Ergodic Theory or Topological Dynamics. Though almost 20 years old, this book keeps its vitality and focus. For the non-expert, the enlighting introduction is enough to justify buying the book.Princetonのペーパーバック版をマーケットプレイスで購入。もっと廉価のDover版を手に入れようとしてアマゾンに数年がかりで頼んでいるが一度も成功しない。入手できないくせにアマゾンはなぜ購入を誘うメールを送ってくるのだ？まだ読みかけだがレビューをせかされるのでとりあえず現時点まで：イントロ・第一章は力学系のエルゴード理論的見方が簡潔にまとめられていてすべての数学関係者が読むに価する内容と思う。第二章から中盤は整数論への応用を念頭に置いたエルゴード理論入門といった趣。第一人者Furstenbergがどう書いたかじっくり読みたい。後半は専門的。これから読みます。
