Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Probably should have gone with Eric Tyson’s latest edition for a more useful investment but thought I’d give this one a try for the practical worksheets. Most of the advice is sound, it’s just things anyone who has read any financial material before has heard. Turns out between google, excel, and countless finance apps, this book really isn’t necessary.

⭐This is a fantastic primer on your personal finances and offers worksheets to fill in…right in the book. You can have a grasp on your current money journey and where you hope to go by just following this book. There is great advice on pitfalls to avoid and basic guidelines on best practices for debt, expenses, insurance, etc. Sheryl even provides ideas on smart spending and considering your best life with money. Glad to have this book!

⭐Amazingly understandable workbook for those without money management skills. I Purchased it for myself as I do the bills and the family but found it rather simple, perfect for my husband who has no concept of budget.

⭐Boy do I need this book really adulthood

⭐I think this is one of the best books I have ever used in Personal Finance. The worksheets are first rate and very useful as reality checks. I highly recomend this if you want to handle your finances better.

⭐I thought that this book did a very good job of educating its intended audience, the person new to personal finance that maybe had little to no training from their parents on the matter.

⭐defiantly for dummies, very much of an overview very seldom does it get specific

⭐Like all of the Dummies books it’s easy to read and the information is clearly presented. I like the exercises too.

⭐Disappointed in myself. I searched for personal finance books and this was the best rated on Amazon.co.uk – but didn’t realise it was solely American based and so much of it is incorrect technical lingo for the UK. Hoping to salvage a bit from some of the worksheets and budgeting layouts but ultimately not something I would have purchased. My own fault for rushing a purchase specifically about feeling less foolish financially!
