Jennifer is also a computer trainer for corporate personnel, teaching a variety of classes including Windows, Microsoft Office, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop Elements, and others. Jennifer is a self-taught veteran of computing, which means, of course, that if something can happen to a computer user, it has probably happened to her at one time or another. Thus Jennifer brings what’s left of her sense of humor to her many books, including: Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 in a Snap, How to Use Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and Fireworks 8, Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 in a Snap, Digital Photography with Photoshop Album in a Snap, Paint Shop Pro 8 in a Snap, Learning Office 2003, Learning Excel 2003, and Multimedia Basics. Karen S. Fredricks began her life rather non-technically growing up in Kenya. She attended high school in Beirut, Lebanon, where she developed her sense of humor while dodging bombs. After traveling all over the world, Karen ended up at the University of Florida and has been an ardent Gator fan ever since. In addition to undergraduate studies in English, Theater, and Accounting, Karen has a master’s degree in Psycholinguistics. Beginning her career teaching high school English and theater, Karen switched to working with the PC during its inception in the early ’80s and has worked as a full-time computer consultant and trainer ever since. Karen is an ACT! Certified Consultant, an ACT! Premier Trainer, a Microsoft Office User Specialist, and a QuickBooks Pro Certified Advisor. She is the author of four For Dummies books on ACT! In addition, she has written Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager For Dummies and is completing work on Microsoft Office Live For Dummies. A true fan of the For Dummies series, she helped organize The Authors Unconference, the first ever gathering of For Dummies authors.

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I have always liked these “books for Dummies”. This one is no exception. Outlook is not always the easiest program to operate, even though I have had occasion to use Outlook since back before the turn of the Century. With all the updates to the original Outlook program up to and including my latest 2007 Outlook, I find comfort in using this book. After all, I would not have been looking at this book if I did not feel the need for help. Easy to read and understand. Always only a reach away.

⭐I would rate this as one of the very best computer books for anyone from the novice on up. I just wish manuals for computer programs had been this simple years ago for Microsoft’s array of often complicated software. I have used Office products for more than a decade but never dug into the nuts and bolts of Outlook. Since I’ve began reading this book my whole world of electronic organization has changed.

⭐No one likes a boring book, particularly a handbook on a textual and maybe boring subject. This gal has made it an interesting adventure. I have upgraded to Outlook 2010 and I needed to find out the basis of what I was doing in 2007. ‘Could not have made a better choice. It is a good refrence as as to why I am doing what I am doing now and the reason for which I have changed. I know, screwy logic but it works for me and so does this book.

⭐Great reference book I keep it on my bookshelf at work and I’ve referred to it several times. Gives shortcuts that I didn’t know about; explains how to do something clearly and concisely. Great, great reference book.

⭐Outlook 2007 All-in-One Desk Reference For DummiesToo many sentences begin with “You can …(perform some technical activity) WITHOUT giving the steps and details of HOW to perform that activity. Many UNDEFINED acronyms. This is supposed to be a book oriented towards “Dummies.”

    ⭐good

⭐Outlook has so many features, it would fill my brain. having this allows me to just look stuff up and move on to the next task.

⭐This is a great book to refer to when navigating through MS Outlook. Easy to read and understand. I would refer this book to others.

⭐Yet another informative book from this series. Very helpful.

⭐As described and arrived within specified time.

    ⭐Excellent product, price & Delivery.
