Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Our review in short. The MS Office All-In-One Desk Reference For Dummies (8 Books In 1) by Peter Weverka is a great ‘quickie’ tutorial guidebook for those unfamiliar with microsoft office. And it will definitely cut down on the time-frame involved in the typical learning curve. — Also, I found it on-sale, used, for less than $2.00, and the price definitely made it worth looking into!Granted, it’s trying to cover a lot of ground in one book. But if you’re one of those people who have not had the time to become familiar with basicms 2007 office software: word, outlook, powerpoint, excel, access, or publisher, this book is a beginner’s, must have! The tips were easy to follow and really helped to give me a basic grasp on the function of the software i was using, so i felt like i was on my way to actually learning more about the product and i didn’t walk away frustrated from the task at hand. So, I think this dummies edition was definitely worth it!** However, if you are already more familiar with ms 2007 office software, or are trying to learn more comprehensive, qualitative user tips, this particular edition will not be for you, and so collecting the individualized,single-subject, tutorial ‘big-books’ for powerpoint, excel, or publisher, and the like, etc., will probably be necessary as they focus on one subject throughout the book for a more complete understanding of the subject that the 8-in-1 type books don’t have time to get into in such detail…Overall, though, this book was definitely a sound investment and is absolutely a book that any beginner should have in their MS-user library! Our Grade: C++, or 3.85-Stars!

⭐I bought it, looked at it and saw that it was inadequate for my purposes. For one thing there was too little said about subjects within Office 2007 I needed answered and there was no links set up I could find to move the process along. I cancelled the order and my troubles began.Amazon charged my account the full amount and has not returned the money nor issued a credit. I believe that I’m being taken advantage of by the incomprehensible manner cancellations are handled. I may have to eat the $15.66 I paid and consider it a bitter lesson.

⭐Have an old copy of the product. This book is a great reference to the main topics, but doesn’t address the down-deep problems that may be involved. It has helped in acquaintance, and would re-buy it for that.

⭐Being new to any Microsoft Office product, when I purchased Office 2007, I was pretty lost. Microsoft’s on-line tutorials were useless, so I purchased Office 2007 for Dummies, thinking I would use it mostly as a reference. It was so well written and easy to understand, I actually read the entire book, and am looking forward to using Publisher and Power Point (I initially purchased Office for Word and Excel). I found working with Office 2007 easy after reading this book, and have had to utilize the book as a reference very minimally. Utilizing the table of contents and index, I can quickly locate what I am looking for. I am sure this book saved me hours of frustration by laying out the concept behind the Office 2007 design, and showing me how to quickly hunt for commands that I know are there (from reading about them in the book). I am sure my learning time was greatly reduced. Great job Peter Werverka!

⭐I’m not unfamiliar with Microsoft Office, but had gaps in my knowledge of some of the programs. This books explains everything in a simple, easy to follow language and includes illustrations to make things even easier to understand. I’m back in the job hunting circuit and Excel is almost mandatory for any resume these days. With this book I will be able to add that knowledge to my resume and be more competitive in the search for a new job. Definitely worth the money! And way cheaper than a class.

⭐I love these “Dummies” books and while I didn’t find this one near as funny, it was drier than the others I have purchased, I still find it a valuble tool for my school work and just using the applications in Office 2007! If you need an ‘a-i-o’ for this program I wouldn’t hesitate to order this one if I were you. The index is incredible, if you have an issue, its there, or at least it has been for me. I gave it only 4 stars due to the fact it was not as fun to read as the others, and thus I have not read the entire thing yet, and probably never will.

⭐This book cover the Windows Office Suite. It is not intense on any of the programs but gives you a general knowledge of each. If you want to get more in depth you should get a one program only Dummies book or if you want to get real technical get a program bible. But to get a basic knowledge of the 8 programs that make up the suite, this is an excellent choice. Dummies make a good line of books. As a computer support tech, we used these books all the time for a variety of subjects.

    ⭐Did all I expected.

⭐Loved the book and have started going through it, learning new things and brushing up on skills not used for a long time, great book

⭐Great book for price paid. Had an old laptop with Office 7 software gave it to granddaughter with the book purchased. She was very happy.

⭐book arrived in plenty of time, and like all the other books in the dummies series is well scripted and easy to understand.

⭐Meets our requirements at the right price. A supplier to recommend and use again

⭐invaluable in helping me familiarise myself with office suite of software , 5*****
