⭐This book by James Rich has all the necessary material for a short introductory course in cosmology. The presentation of the different topics is very clear and the approach, starting with Newtonian cosmology and then moving into relativistic models, is very pedagogic. The chapter on Friedmannology is particularly good. The book is slightly out-dated regarding observational cosmology and alternative models, but it can be complemented with some of the many reviews available in the literature. If you are a grad student looking for a short and clear introduction to cosmology, this is your book.
