Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I bought this book because my son is a fan of NASCAR, of which I knew nothing until I bought the book.It is very interesting and informative. The information is also of the type you don’t realize you need. For instance, there are many tips on going to an actual race–from buying tickets (buy early but not infield) to sitting in the stands (bring sunscreen and a cushion and no umbrellas)to bothering the racers (how to do it).We enjoyed the book and it added to our enjoyment of the big weekend at Watkins Glen.BootsO’Rourke

⭐A great read for anybody new to NASCAR.

⭐I wanted to learn about NASCAR and knew nothing about it… and this book did a good job of introducing it to me. My one complaint is it doesn’t talk enough about what’s going on in the actual races, and I still feel a little lost about what exactly is happening on the track, how exactly the race works, and what specific strategies the drivers are using. A little more on the actual racing and this book would’ve been perfect. But it’s still an excellent intro if you’re looking to learn about the sport.

⭐Wife and I are big NASCAR fans and just bought this for fun. Surprised how much I didn’t know — and I didn’t consider myself a NASCAR dummy, either. Some things (e.g. the Sprint Cup scoring and chase procedures) may be out of date by now (Aug 2014) but still an enjoyable ‘reference’ book to have out while watching the races on TV.

⭐Best book ever! Of course Mark Martin was my driver and I never knew he worked on this book and others.

⭐New to NASCAR and all the intricacies so I bit the bullet and bought this booklet. It really is great for understanding all the nuances of the sport. I recommend it wholeheartedly for anyone who wants to know everything about NASCAR. Mark Martin, the author, is really an excellent authority. Can’t beat it for the price.

⭐I am a Sports Illustrated, ESPN sorta reader, anything short and with lots of pictures I will read, short attention span. I am a NASCAR fan and thought I knew alot about the sport and originally bought the book for my wife, but I must say I not only read the whole book in two days I also learned alot that I did not know or what I thought I knew. Excellent book, interesting reading and even if you are not into the sport it is just fun to read. Excellent Excellent book……

⭐So the price was right. And it did say used. But the cover came completely bent over. Had a white line down the cover where it was bent. It was a funny joke gift to a friend just getting into the sport so it was kinda a bummer. But for the price and speed it got here i would get it again

⭐I’ve been a casual NASCAR fan for several years now, but when watching a race recently, I questioned how much I really “knew” about the sport. This book seemed ideal, and I have to say, it’s a tremendous read. Whether you are already a hard-core fan or just finding your way, there is something in this book for you. Packed with information, inside knowledge and helpful hints, it is the perfect NASCAR book. Although the title is “NASCAR for Dummies”, at no time does the book “Talk Down” to you, or make you feel like an idiot for not knowing stuff. The book is divided up into sections and is the sort of book you can dip in and out of. I’ve definitely increased my knowledge of NASCAR from reading this book, and would highly recommend it!

⭐I really enjoyed this book. As a new-be to Nascar this book really helped me understand what was going on during and behind the race it enhanced my Nascar viewing experience, and enabled me to carry on real conversations with other fans, without just nodding and smiling!I highly recommend it to any new fans! And old ones who want to brush up on their knowledge!

    ⭐Easy to read

⭐This is the ultimate book to know what Nascar is all about, all the question you ever had about it, is in it
