Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I am a new computer user and started with a Mac. All of my family uses Windows so I have plowed through this alone. I finally surrendered to a dummie book and I”m glad I did. It answeredmany little and simple questions I had. I was impressed with the quick shipping time and the condition of the book for the price was unbeatable. Once again, thanks Amazon.

⭐Shoulda payed attention to the review of this book. I also purchased “Switching to Mac for Dummies” and this book here, “Macs for Dummies” covers it all. Good reading and talks you through the setup, navigation and transfer of files from your PC to your Mac. Wonderful book to learn about how to work with Mac

⭐I am trying to learn how to use my Mac and I need all the help I can get. I don’t find this book that easy to work with but I think it is largely because I used a Dell for 25 years. At age 86 I am not that interested in learning all of this information because I have no need for it. A more direct statement of “do this or that” in a very straight forward way would be better for me.

⭐Great book that I referred to.

⭐This book has the basics I needed to operate my new Mac. When my computer locked up I couldn’t ‘control-alt-delete’ – doesn’t work for a MAC! I really needed this book! Sounds VERY simple, but it sure stumped me! This book will really help you if you’re new to a Mac.

⭐I’m a dummy, I needed help, this is a good beginner book although it’s a few years old.

⭐I love the “Dummies” series and this one is no exception. I learn so much useful every day but important “stuff” from these books. Great MAC book!

⭐step, by step, I was able to use a computer without having to take computer classes. When I messed up, it showed me how to fix it.

⭐A very informative book, thank you very much

⭐Big yawn, yes the chap knows his stuff, but he seems to veer from his target audience of absolute dummies to someone who actually knows about MAC, so no consistency.Written in a forced jocular style which just irritated me.
