Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I bought this book originally to try and understand my new Mac Air. It was so easy to understand, and simple to us, that I loved it. It is a bit dated now, but I just kent it to someone else who just got a Mac, and they say it is helping them.

⭐This book is several years old, but my son appreciates it for his 2006 MacBook hand me down. It has already answered several questions for him that I could not readily answer (my MacBook being much newer).

⭐I recently purchased a MacBook after using a PC for too long and wanted to get a quick course on what to expect this book helped make the transition easy and also what to expect. The Mac is really so easy to use that one would think that a book would not be necessary, but having used PC’s at work and home for several decades there were a lot of habits that I needed to break and I did not want too many surprises…this book really helped make that transition easy and enjoyable.I own a couple dozen “Dummy” books and they always provide good information in a short precise manner and are easy to read and understand.

⭐I really am a computer dummy. I feel in love with Quick Books for Dummies. It was on my low level & I could follow everything in the book. But this book is not nearly that simple. The guy who wrote it simply knows too much & doesn’t realize how the real dummies think. He uses a lot of MAC jargon without realizing it. It has hardly helped me at all. I have to keep getting my children & friends to help me.

⭐I am using my first MacBook, but this book was not much help. Apple’s One-to-One sessions are exceedingly helpful and a bargain at $99 for 1 year.

    ⭐none

⭐This is a great asset for any novice who wants to understand and use a Mac. Highly recommended for all.

⭐Look, Apple made a GREAT personal Labtop. PERIOD! If you want to get up to speed (before the Genius Bar), there is simply no better book than Mark L. Chambers’ MacBook For Dummies. Plainly written, well laid out; you’ll get ALL the basic information you’ll ever need to logically understand your GREAT tool!

⭐I have just moved over from PC to Mac and found the book just what was needed. The transition over was made simple and I am now a Mac convert. I found it very easy just to jump in and out of as and when needed. I have a few Dummies books, one for Office and one for PC and this is just as good and informative. Highly recommended.

⭐A great book that trys a littlle too hard to be cute and funny but hey I can do things with my Mac that I didn’t know about before – I’m happy!

⭐A handy book, points you in the right direction.good for 1st time users of macs.would recommend buying a copy.

⭐nOTHING LIKE BUYING ONE OF THE BEST TOYS ON THE MARKET AND NOT KNOWING HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF IT. a GREAT READ.
