Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I thought I would be more into iMovie and iDVD on my Max, but it turned out, not so much. I have the book but have not really gotten into it so I would not want to influence anyone one way or the other.

⭐This has been a great source for my husband. It’s his go to source. Answers all his questions.

⭐Great book with easy to follow directions. Lots of helpful tips and suggestions. I really enjoyed practicing the techniques while reading through the book.

⭐Hard to follow writing style. Just as easy to learn imovie if you spend time with the program yourself along with youtube tutorials.

⭐This book is user friendly. I am glad I purchased it and very satisfied with the price. I will buy this way again.

⭐I bought an iMac a couple of years back, my first Mac. iMovie and (to a lesser extent) iDVD were an important part of the package for me, being very interested in making my own movies. There’s nothing particularly wrong with this Dummies guide, except that there doesn’t seem to be enough material to fill the book. It’s good of them to merge iMovie and iDVD which goes some way to improving matters, but not quite enough. And of course, it’s not their fault if this ultimately comes down to the limited (or should that be highly ‘selected’) feature set in the software? Ultimately I didn’t learn much from the books, and what I did learn I could have just as easily look up online. So instead it’s taking up space on my bookshelf.Perhaps recommended if you literally know nothing about movie editing software and find the software interfaces to be unintuitive.

⭐Good book

⭐Maybe it’s just me but I didn’t get the help I wanted from this book. It wasn’t any clearer than the normal books for non dummies.

⭐Very fasy
