Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐This is one of the better “for dummies” books I’ve tried. I have a modest understanding of Excel so I am not sure if this book is basic enough for a true “dummy.” It definitely impresses me with the power of this tool, especially if you connect it with the VBA programming capabilities The one section I found lacking was the description of the “Conditional Formatting.” It could have gone into more detail and showed more examples. Other than that I am thoroughly enjoying this book. If that doesn’t make me a nerd I don’t know what will. Does Amazon sell pocket protectors?

⭐This book is easy to read and has straight forward examples. This book is probably not for someone looking to learn complex formulas

⭐At the same time I purchased this book I also purchased some used books on-line. I use those other books far more than I use this one. I’ve only used this book maybe twice. It’s just not a good learning tool.

⭐You can look up everything this book has to offer for free online. There is nothing in this book that you can’t find online for free. If you look hard enough you can even find project files of data online for free to help you develop your skills in excel. In my opinion, this book was not worth the money paid for it, however, the one pro about owning this book is that you have some simple Excell references at your fingertips if you find yourself not remembering to calculate the MEAN, MEDIAN, and MODE in a data set.

⭐Had some formulas that I had used in the past and forgot how to set up formulas. This book is helpful.

⭐This book describes how to use the function in Excel. It is well written and will be a desktop reference for those who use Excel regularly.

⭐I was looking for specific help with Vlookup and If statements and the book was pretty light on this area. It is great for other more advanced calculations.

⭐A little too basic for me and you can find this functions online

⭐I wanted to learn more about formulas. I expected a lot lot more than the relatively few dealt with.Frankly you could gain a lot of what you needed to know about a lot of the formulas dealt with, from Microsofts tutorials without paying £11.Disappointed as I have found these books useful over the years. If you are a total beginner then the book should be useful.

⭐I have bought numerous books looked at the website but there is no data to back the exercises and thats what this lacks,

⭐Would have been better on Google looking up what I needed. Not very detailed sections on more common items.

⭐Really need time to go through I wouldn’t say say dummies tho

⭐Great for dipping back into find a specific answer for a problem or query.
