    User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐The first seven (1-7) chapters cover high school level of Mathematical Analysis (in some places called “Calculus”) and Analytical Geometry. Too low level for undergraduate physics students (at least in continental Europe, China, Korea, and Russia).

⭐First of all, despite its title, this is not a book about mathematical physics (well, I didn’t expect that judging from the books description). Rather, it’s a fairly uninspired accumulation of the usual mathematical concepts a physics student will encounter in her first year in a typical european curriculum – essentially a flattened Calc I – III course without much explanation or physical motivation.I’d say the book is ok if you want to refresh your knowledge for an exam but I don’t think it’ll be helpful as a first time textbook.True, the book’s syllabus does cover the typical techniques you’ll need in your first year but the explanations are frequently brief and sketchy and the connection to physics is mostly absent. There are better books in this area.
