Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Incredibly helpful for a “dummy” like me. I’ve never tried to train a dog before, my husband has. This book has been helpful to both of us in this process. Very glad I bought it.

    ⭐Great book in good condition.

⭐This book did help with the training of my new pound “pup” who was probably 1-2 years old already. Don’t remember much about it now, but I do remember these books helped somewhat. Sorry! (On a side note, I did take my dog to training classes and that was more effective because it was more about me than the dog, Lol!)

⭐We are currently trying desperately to train our little angel. So far she seems to have a mind of her own but we are working on letting her know who is the pack leader, and it’s NOT HER. We’re hopeful she’ll catch on soon! Lots of great information in this book, and with time and effort on our part, I think she’ll get the big picture soon!

⭐I have actually bought this book twice. Once for myself to train my Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy, and the second time for my father and his new Chessie pup. Great methodology on how to train your pet with our without treats. Outlines step by step procedures for getting your dog to do both basic obedience and advanced tricks. I still refer to the book from time to time when the dog gets unruly. Only negative is that the book could use better diagrams and pictures.Definitely recommend picking this book up!

⭐Daughter bought this booked used, and though it had some cosmetic issues – it is a book come on – the pages were perfect and she enjoyed reading it very much – helped her greatly with training our new dog.

⭐This book is a great addition to anyone who has a dog behavior shelf in their library. The Volhards are among the best trainers with years of experience. This volume breaks down techniques for basic training to simple lessons that can be used to reinforce any obedience classes a person might attend.

    ⭐Good book.

    ⭐great item, thank you

⭐The book is brilliant, straightforward and to the point in clear layman’s language

    ⭐very fast delivery good product

⭐As a first time puppy owner, I’ve found this book invaluable in helping to train her.She was crate and house trained within 10 days, and is starting to learn to ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ – all important things in a young dog’s life.the book is easy to read, either from cover to cover, or by dipping in and out – and as usual the Dummie’s formula makes it a breeze to find the information you need.Highly recommended if you’re new to puppy training!

⭐That book is full of information, tips, and suggestions to raise puppies. That is definitively the IT book.
