Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I gave this book to my dad for his birthday along with a new laptop computer that runs Windows 8. I thought this would be perfect because then I would not have to always be explaining to him how to do simple things like use the internet or find something on his computer. Well my dad said its ok but it doesn’t go into enough details in things that he needs it to or doesn’t even cover them, and then there is some stuff in there that he said is way to complicated and he doesn’t even know what they are talking about. Needless to say he will try to use the book on very rare occasions but usually he comes to me for help. A little disappointed but it was worth a shot.

⭐I liked THAT it didn’t talk down to SENIORS. But you can’t put a 2020 memory in a 40’s brain. It was helpful but I don;t think there is enough help in the world to help me. I rely on my husband, children and Grandchildren.

⭐Great book for computer illiterates and it came quickly and in great shape!

⭐I actually bought this for someone who has been in prison for about 21 years. He doesn’t know much about computers so I had to explain a lot to him whenever I wrote about my comuter, which I use a lot. He says the book has taught him a lot, so I don’t have to explain many computer things to him anymore. I suspect it would be equally helpful for anyone who knows little about computers. My friend isn’t a “senior,” but the description of this book was closest to what I was looking for for him.

⭐Book written by a person that believed what they wrote a book from the standpoint of a person that had known little aboutcomputers in the but wrote things from that standpoint and this took into account that those that read the book was ableto capture what most miss from the start. This enabled those that read the book to really understand computers enoughin a way that most books skip past or really don’t cover enough for a person to really understand them. This to me enabled me to relax to a point that I was able to understand what I was reading. This enabled me to remember what Iread and felt relaxed and enabled me to remember what I read.

⭐IF I COULD UNDERSTAND THIS BOOK I WOULDNT HAVE HAD TO BUY IT, NO MATTER HOW MUCH I PAID FOR IT .

⭐Bought it for a family member. They STILL had questions after referencing it. Might not be the book though, more like my family member.

⭐My mother in law wanted this book to try and keep up with technology and she liked it a lot!

⭐Excellent service, great ethos, faultless, you are not going to believe this butMy sons pup has since chewed it up, should have done my homework, many thanks for a lovely concept

⭐should be stated when purchasing that this book is only for windows 8, a different version for windows 7 is available but no mention is made is made of this until page 16.

⭐Bought this for my 82 yr old neighbour who has just got his first computer. He finds the book clear although he still thinks there is too much jargon!

⭐He wouldn’t read it – maybe more lady pic’s would work (Sorry – He’s not worth the effort)

⭐Book arrived promptly and well packaged.Intend to get another copy for a friend’s birthday.Just the job! Many thanks
