Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐This book is not just technical. It delves into the history of Unix which is exactly what I wanted.

⭐Delivered as promise. Will use it in my tech library.

⭐This is a good reference book. I installed ubuntu as a flash drive OS and have been using it off and on while learning to interact with linux for work.

⭐I bought this book to prepare for job interview questions based on UNIX.I have taken a couple of courses on the same but this book serves as quick reference handbook.Thank you,

    ⭐Works as advertised

⭐Is perfect for what I need it for, as a reference and don’t need to carry the book around. It’s on my phone or IPad. Love the Kindle App.

⭐Books for Dummies has it down. It contained all the information I was looking to learn out of it.Just make sure if covers what youre looking for.

⭐We use an old Unix System at work to run the warehouse

⭐joke of a secret santa for the ntcase who left wintel for a Unix team. Why? still each to their own.Even managed to take a sneeky peek at it after presentation and even found it useful and gave even me an insight that i found interesting and helpful. The ‘For Dummies….’ series really does not fail to do the job. Clear, simple instructions that can give you a solid understanding and base knowledge to then develop. Gives the starter that much needed jab in the right direction to go deeper.

⭐Would recommend, great intro to unix OS with some basic references to some flags that are used quite often, i would purchase Unix in a Nutshell aswell because it is THE goto reference book

⭐Great price, quick delivery, arrived safely. Thanks.

    ⭐Does the job

    ⭐Waste of money
