⭐I found this text to be perfectly written for self-study as well as classroom lectures. The material is very well organized as it speaks to classical theorems onf Complex Analysis which have analogs in harmonic functions. Surley a worthwhile tect to add to one’s collecion.

⭐It is very classic and good textbook ot learn basic knowledge in this field. And the exercises are chosen to be well organized.

⭐Too many lines of the “it’s easily checked that …” kinddetract from the value this might have had andwaste the reader’s time.It would be smarter to purchase eitherthe Schaums outlines (pde) or one of themany Dover pde reprints.

⭐The authors provide a good introduction to the many important theorems, and the proofs for these theorems, many of which are not found in standard textbooks on complex variables. I found it very helpful that the authors discussed and proved the Mean Value Principle at the very beginning to this book, on pp.4-7. Another very useful result, the Schwarz Reflection Principle, is stated and proved on pp.66-70. This book includes an index for special symbols and the page numbers on which they are defined. There is also an appendix that provides the formula for a volume of any dimension, as well the proof for this formula. This book is also very accessible, as it is available online in its entirety, as a pdf file.

⭐We used this text in class for a topics course on Harmonic Analysis. The book is very well written and has a plethora of problems and examples to make sure the reader knows that he is on the right track. An excellent text.
