Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I wish there were a new copy. I’m buying this in 2016. It has lost a lot of its value.

⭐I think it is an excellent book, especially for those who is not familiar with federal tax preparation in the US at all.In this book, many concepts are explained quite clearly. Even though published in 2009, many concepts and principles we use now remain the same. And as an immigrant, after reading the book, I found no difficulty in tax filing. Tax filing is just a breeze.

⭐I purchased this for my son just to make him more comfortable in doing his own taxes. The easy read and examples makes the tax prep burden more easily understood

    ⭐Straight to the point.

⭐I ordered this book with the illusion I’d be able to do my own taxes the first year offwith a business. One look at how thick it is told me I’d be spending more time doing taxes than doing business so I went to the IRS website, found a seminar close by, attended that, then hired the presenter to do my taxes for me.It saved a lot of frustration and allowed me to do what I enjoy doing and let a prodo my taxes. I resold the book on amazon which is my business. The book is way too thick and our tax code is way to complex. So unless you have a lot of time on your hands and infinite patience don’t waste your money

⭐This book seems to have been written by amateurs. David Silverman has ruined the work of Eirc Tyson with his elementary views on taxes. I wish I could give it less than 1 star.

⭐I do not see where it says ths is the UK version……..no help if you live in the US………….im returing this

    ⭐Helped with taxes
