The book is composed of 3 sections and is about 200 pages. I would recommend reading the first 16 volumes before grappleing with this original reference. The book covers the history of informal and formal logic beginning with a huge definition of mathematical terms, axioms, theorems, proofs, and corollaries. I think this is almost every logicians’ reference book. One needs to have the prerequisites of quantum theory, statistics, advanced algebra, and partial differential equations to begin to understand the work here. Quine’s Methods, Godel’s works, and many other books are the minimum experience. What I am saying is this book is complicated and cannot be understood with knowledge of Russell and Wittgenstein’s work.This book reads like an encyclopedia and dictionary. There should be chapter marks which there is not. You need to own all the books in the entire series to begin study of this work. Advanced researchers could benefit from the discussion and learned commentary provided here. If one is writing a thesis on logic work, this is the book for you. Thanks. It was a pleasure studying this book. Physicists will probably find this book quite confusing.
