⭐DOCTRINE OF “EPISTEME” PRECISELY ARTICULATED:Due to the nature of this volume, my review will be progressively completed. My first investigation was the three essays by SMITH, FEREJOHN, & CRIVELLI; all of whom addressed “EPISTEME”. Together they provided an extremely accurate rendition of Aristotle’s position consisting of:1. LOGIC: as “prior-analytics” & “posterior-analytics”; and “demonstration” as “syllogism” & “causal necessity”.2. EMPIRICISM: or “EMPEIRIA” and the pre-existing state of “HEXEIS-DUNAMIS”; and possible-intellect transitioning to active-intellect.3. SIGNIFICATION: as the “pause” of positing categories; and the “language” of signification.4. EPISTEME: and explanation, bearing, and “provoking” an audience to “phronesis”, along with the “self”The editor, by arranging this “order” of “topics” is also to be commended. It gives the reader the absolute best representation of Aristotle’s “EPISTEME” to be found anywhere.More to come; “5 stars” for scholarly brilliance.

⭐Rather nice set of articles on the perennial issues that scholars return to with Aristotle. One can get a good idea of where things stand on an issue from the articles, which contain nice bibliographies for further interest or research.

⭐This is certainly not an entry level companion to Aristotle.
