⭐An eminently readbable volume that really impresses as to the advances in GR theory and observation in the past 25 years.Since I also enjoy science history, I ordered its logical predecessor

⭐around the same time. The difference in tone and content from the 1979 volume is amazing. According to the “Centenary Survey” competing theories of gravity were still on the charts (see the “Dicke framework”) – who would have thought?
