Theory and modelling with direct numerical simulation and experimental observations are indispensable in the understanding of the evolution of nature, in this case the theory and modelling of plasma and fluid turbulence. Plasma and Fluid Turbulence: Theory and Modelling explains modelling methodologies in depth with regard to turbulence phenomena a
User’s Reviews
Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐This book is not for most people attempting to understand turbulence and plasmas. A large fraction of the book is devoted to a mathematical framework which is the flesh on a fairly thorough conceptual skeleton. If you need a book for reference or have a good amount of mathematical skill and a few weeks to devote to this book, I recommend this book highly.
⭐This book is quite well-written. The first half of this book is actually from Yoshizawa’s work. The explanation is not complete. If someone wants to learn the Two-Scale DIA, I would like to recommend Yoshizawa’s book.
