Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐This is a very good book for undergraduate and graduate students. When i looked at the first three chapters of this book right away i remenbered Durelli’s “An introduction to the theoretical and experimental analysis of stress and strain” (A CLASSIC!!). There is a tendency to forget old classics (like Durelli’s, Sokolnikoff’s, Crandall’s, even Timoshenko’s, etc.) but as a matter of fact they were and still are inapreciable systematic books. Very pedagogical and thoroughly well designed. Still, Da Silva’s Mechanics…. occupied four of these classics in every chapter of his book.
