⭐ I have to say I am so glad that Bella Forrest decided to return to The Shade last December and pick up Derek, Sofia and the twins story again and I am so glad that there’s only about a month’s wait in between these new releases! I’m in awe that after all these books she can still keep the storyline going strong and continue to surprise me in each book! To me, this latest installment really felt like old-school Shade, it really brought me back to the feel of some of the earlier books and I loved that. I’m worried for all of the issues that they are facing at The Shade but I’m looking forward to seeing the residents, led by Derek and Sofia, band together to figure it out like in the good ole days. It’s anyone’s guess where things are going to go, but one thing I do know is that I’ll be along for the ride!I’m still in love with the Caleb/Rose storyline and I’m really nervous for them based on how things left off here. I hope that Caleb can figure out the truth before too long! Poor Rose, that girl cannot catch a break. I seriously hate Annora, more so now than when she was an evil witch, but there quite a few comical moments as her and Rose fought for Caleb’s affection. I like how every so often there’s some comic relief to all the craziness that’s happening.I’m also worried for Mona, which I never thought I’d say seeing as I couldn’t stand her in the Shade of Kiev books, funny how your perception of a character can change over time! And I was totally surprised with Ben’s storyline, I really hope we get more on that in the next book. I have no idea how that’ll turn out! I saw Bella’s note at the end of the book where she said she thinks book 13 will be the most epic yet, so I can’t wait for May to get here so I can see what happens next! Keep the books coming!

⭐ I love this series but I am not sure how much more of this that we can read, it needs a little more to it. I hate to say that because they are good stories but this one was a little disappointing because of the fact that Rose was once again kidnapped. How many times can someone be kidnapped? I wish Caleb had just killed Annora when he had his chance, she has proven that even though she is human she is still evil. As for Rose I hope that she is rescued by either her brother or Caleb before she is abused. Let us see Caleb and Rose be together and everyone else be happy, there are too many bad things happening all at once to them, the shade and Ben. We need to see some happiness happening.

⭐ I love A Shade of Vampire it’s a story that actually makes u smile , tear up, get angry and so much more while reading …I have been reading A Shade of Vampire for over a year now n feel like I know each character n I find myself getting into the world which in turns let’s me relax n enjoy my reading . To me that’s what a good book should do relax n take u in if only for a moment enjoy a little of nothing but leisure. I love reading ur all ur books Bella , I know u don’t read these reviews but I really love n enjoy as much as need to have a really good story in which to loose myself n forget the my sometimes too stressful life …. Thank u for giving me that gateway …. I go thru it n land in a whole stress free n relaxing world if only for a hour or so …. Lol ❤️

⭐ another great story poor rose is always getting kidnapped….annora is such a pain lol.. ben is really taking to vampirism bad (did silas do this)…..can all the trauma that is at the shade be the result of the silas the ghoul?????????? cant wait to read the next book to see what is causing all the trauma/drama in the shade…..i really enjoyed this book i love how each book continues from each other would totally recommend this entire series….the books are easy to read and there is no confusion when reading these books …awesome work again bella totally loved the continue story line

⭐ To be honest I bought the first book in this series because it was $.99. When I started reading it I thought,”Oh no another Twilight book”, I kept reading and was I glad I did. This turned into a fast paced action filled series with twists and turns in every book. There are a few juvenile moments in the books but not enough to ruin the story. The characters are great and it is a different take on the whole vampire ,werewolves and other nasties. I am awaiting book 13 now.

⭐ It was just as exciting as the first book. The tragic experience of this book makes readers continue to read more and more.

⭐ Book 13.I just finished reading this book. I am still reading about a book a week from this author trying to catch up. I finish one and immediately, I must start the next one right away. I can believe that I am so addicted to these books. Honestly if you start reading Bella’s books be prepared for a long roller coaster ride. Just when you think you are sure you know whats going to happens next, she managed once again to amaze everyone with her creative twist and turns.I am very comfortable and confident that when I purchase one of Bella’s books, I will be completely satisfy.

⭐ This series started out fantastic, strong characters great story line, everything you want in a series. But it just keeps dragging on, the plot gets ridiculous and rushed, the characters suffer and let’s face it each book in now a novella in length. She should have stopped a long time ago, its sad when writers sell out for money. I won’t be buying any more books to see how it ends I no longer have interest in wasting time and money

⭐ I’ve enjoyed all the ‘A Shade Of Vampire’ books. But this one wore on me a little. There’s just so much a human can endure. Rose is a strong female character but….dang. Hopefully in the next book she makes it home and gets to rest for a while.

⭐ The Shade of Vampire series has been on of my favorites since I read book one. Books 1-7 were addicting and amazing. So were the Kiev books for that matter. Once I started reading them I literally could not put down my kindle. Even once Bella started the Shade of Vampire series back up a few years down the timeline with the twins being 17 I was ecstatic. The Shade of Vampire series is fascinating and captivating. . .With that being said, the further this series gets down the line, at the end of each book I am left wanting to smack my head into the wall a few times because the storyline keeps getting more and more frustrating leaving you with a cliffhanger everytime that- with recent books- has left me starring at my kindle at the end of the book yelling “Seriously?”.Where as books 1-7 took me at least 4 hrs to read, the newest ones only take 2 hrs. And yet the price per book stays the same. Accoring to the page amount listed in the description all of the books are right around 300 pages, but I’m not so certain anymore that it is correct because I don’t understand how people (not just me) are reading the new books in half the time as the old ones. Personally, if I was writing this series I would be combining two books worth of content into one, because the way it stands rights now, the readers are going to get tired of having to shell out $3.99 every month for a book that they read in 2 hrs or less.In the end. The series is a great read and it is never slow since there is always something going wrong. The writing flows nicely and they are edited very well with a very minimum amount of mistakes/typos.Overall the series is addictive, fascinating, and frustrating.
