⭐I bought this really cheap and it is brand new.

⭐Great for archaeology students. It’s easy to leaf through and find what you need. It gives overall key concepts which is great if you are new to the subject or want an overall perspective before delving into more in-depth studies for essays etc.

⭐Useful ‘bluffers guide’ to the technical terms and buzzwords. A little uneven, e.g. entries on processual archaeology and phenomonological archaeology are clear and helpful; the one on post-processual and interpretative archaeological is pretty opaque.

⭐wish I had read this years ago, it would have saved me a lot in unnecessary reading with other archaeological text books.

An jede Erläuterung schließt sich ein Abschnitt “suggested reading” an, wo der Leser weiterführende und grundsätzlichere Behandlungen des jeweiligen Themas findet.Damit bietet dieses Werk eine insgesamt gelungene Zusammenstellung von zentralen Informationen, die sich sonst oft nur versteckten Artikeln oder langen Monographien entnehmen lassen.
