The concluding five chapters are on the beautiful subject of combinatory logic, which is not only intriguing in its own right, but has important applications to computer science. Argonne National Laboratory is especially involved in these applications, and I am proud to say that its members have found use for some of my results in combinatory logic.This book does not cover such important subjects as set theory, model theory, proof theory, and modern developments in recursion theory, but the reader, after studying this volume, will be amply prepared for the study of these more advanced topics.

⭐* PhysicalThis book has 277 pages of good quality paper, and the forn size is fine to read with specs.* Target audience, H.N.D, Undergraduate, Graduate, Post graduate?It’s for a mathematical degree of year two and above.* What’s it cover?Part 1, More on Propositional and First-Order Logic, Part 2, Recursion Theory and Metamathemarics, Part 3 Elements of Combinatory Logic* SummaryThe book continues from the previous volume and you clearly explore the same topics as the first book of this two-volume set. With the two-book set, I can grasp what written but its a lot of details to memorise. This is great, but I expected more detail in the later topics, so feel a bit disappointed. It’s enjoyable to read and it increased my grasp of this important topic no end.
