⭐While perhaps not as good as the other works in the series it’s nice to finally have this out in the west. The story mainly focuses on a group of six friends who spend most of their screen time together- so sadly we don’t get as much of the delicious irony as the other books have delivered.Additionally most of the older characters have much smaller roles this time around and the new characters don’t get as much of a chance to develop themselves and stand out.BUT we do get to see the return of Boogiepop- learn a bit more about the Towa Organization- and the Fire Witch is back to kick some butt!Also included is perhaps the only version of the Pandora’s Box legend to make ANY sense at all.Sadly gone are the post story notes from the old books. I’d love to know when this takes place in the timeline. Seems to be sometime during book 1?
