Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐There is a good deal of valuable BASIC information in this workbook. However a strong warning: starting a business today using old methods of extensive manually maintained journals is a sure invitation for business failure. Computerized programs for bookkeeping are cheap and comprehensive. Asking a newly trained prospective employee to use the antiquated system would mean no interest in the position. The book needs a new edition. The general information, no matter how valuable can easily be found in many books on the subject at a reasonable price. The price of this dummies book is too high for the information gained. Chapters on manual journal entry are worthless. THE BOOK NEEDS AN UPDATED APPROACH TO BOOKKEEPING/ACCOUNTING.

⭐The book is to light on details on the different elements of the accounting cycle. There are not enough examples on making journal entries, journal ledgers entries and/or how elements of the accounting cycle work together to produce financial reports.

⭐Ah I knew these books sucked but I just had to give it a try this was probably the worse book I have ever touched

⭐I have done some of the work in it and it is helping. Easy to understand

⭐Covers all the basics. I wouldn’t try to learn accounting from it, but it’s a handy reference to present and clarify basic issues to someone who’s trying to do or learn bookkeeping.

⭐The explanation of is exercise and problem are very good.

    ⭐Good book to read

⭐This is a great book for those who want to begin a bookkeeping journey. Especial those who like to do as they learn. I also bought the bookkeeping for dummies that isn’t the work book and combined with this one is pretty great. I love how exercises help you review what you just learned. I would definitely recommend it as a beginners books.

⭐This is based on US accounting, taxes and payroll. I was not aware of that when I made the purchase.Minimal value to me as a Canadian.

    ⭐PRODUCT WAS AS ADVERTISED.

⭐fast delivery 🙂 Very satisfied thank you

⭐love it. I wish there were c.d.’s to teach me more about bookkeeping for more entries.
