User’s Reviews
Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐This is a well written account of the classical approach to the theory of continuous groups by a leading expert from the early 20th century. The techniques used in the exposition are no longer current and so the exposition is not immediately transparent to a modern reader. Nevertheless, the text is useful and instructive for anyone interested in reading classical literature in mathematics. The time needed to unravel its content is time well invested and will reap ample rewards in deepening one’s understanding of the theory. The text was a classic in the 20th century and was used by the majority of physicists in that era to learn this theory.
⭐No me ha gustado el que las páginas impares estén en el sitio de las pares y viceversa.
