Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Our small company decided to use DNN to improve their static HTML based site. This book really helped all of us – sales people, account managers, as well as the data services people – how to get it started, get a feel of how to work with modules, install, customize, create/add roles, skin explanation, etc.So far the results have been excellent – we’ve created a workable site where our clients can easily get reports and the data we need – and it is easy to work with. This book was a great help in getting the basics down and point to other resources for more questions or advanced topics.

⭐An absolute waste of time. This book is so outdated it’s not even worth the paper it’s published on. You can learn so much more about DNN by simply browsing the web for free online tutorials. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!

⭐Great book for providing the basics and getting things going with DotNetNuke. Pretty slick little product so far. Would recommend for understanding the product and providing initial implementation of your first website using it.

⭐This book does an ok job of explaining how this system works, but I was a bit disappointed that it concentrated on technical areas I had no interest in. I love the software and was hoping to learn new ways of using existing features.

⭐This is an excellent resource for persons, like me, who know nothing about DotNetNuke. I have found it very helpful

⭐For those new to DotNetNuke, this book provides for a quick foundation of the environment. I’m still reading the book, but so far it has been helpful in getting a DotNetNuke installation running.

⭐Very detailed book – certainly not for dummies. Our web designer provided DNN as our CMS but I find it is much more complex than I imagined. The product and the book are more suited to IT professionals.

⭐Very helpful for those of us just learning how to do a website. Great for someone over 50

⭐Dummies guides are nearly always the quickest route to get going on whatever it is you have bought one for. This book is no exception. Got me up and running in no time. It’s not expensive, so although I have bought a number of more focused books on DNN since, I got my monies worth out of this one right at the start.
