⭐You might say that this book is a blend of 2 other books, Feeling Good, the New Mood Therapy by Dr. David Burns and Atomic Habits by James Cleary. However, he gives no credit to either book which is surprising. Both books are excellent, but this author makes the same information more easily useful. The first part is about what are called “cognitive distortions” in psychology, although that is not what this author calls them. Cognitive distortions are thoughts that are ideas which are false, but our mind presents to us as true. Example: “I have made a lot of mistakes in one area of my life, therefore I am a loser.” This is untrue because there are probably lots of other areas in your life where you have had success—and labeling yourself a “loser” doesn’t serve you since it doesn’t help you find direction for your future. The author provides a process in how to handle your negative thoughts. The second part of the book is about creating new habits. The secret to this is to start VERY small and to add more length to the habit (for example walking—slowly adding more minutes to each session) and more habits as your past ones become automatic.This book is fairly short (but deep enough to cover what needs to be covered) and a pretty easy read. You can start applying the information today!
⭐Another great book by Brian that is to the point with actionable steps to live your best life. I have enjoyed experimenting with his recommendations to see what REALLY works for me individually. I am in more control off my eating and workaholic tendencies and now can enjoy better quality relationships. A must read for anyone looking for practical enjoyable ways to better themselves and the world.
⭐This is the 5th book I’ve read from Brian Nox. I originally found him on YouTube through his channel about relationship advice. I enjoyed his videos because of his calm demeanor and animal themed examples. Lol. I like his way of writing because it comes across as genuine. He isn’t trying to sell you on anything. He isnt trying to make a hashtag trend. His writing, to me, feels friendly and caring. So thank you Brian Nox for the books and the videos. They have helped me grow as a person in 2020
⭐I truly appreciate you took the time to write this book. I intend to read it over again! It is precious to me. I recommend it for everyone to read it. It gives different perspective on life, and relationships. And I intend to apply all that I learned there. Will help to regain mental well-being in this fast paced, crazy world we live in.
⭐of every help self book I have read!!!…..this gives the tools to become limitless…the tools that I never learned in school…the tools no therapist could give you. They are all here written in this book. Brian is so eloquent and never boring. He knows how to be direct and achieves his point fast. Thus the reader learns it fast and can implement his techniques immediately. just by reading this book – the techniques to get out of anger, depression and stop being limited by fear…somehow becomes a part of your thinking immediately!!! This is a must read for every child, parent, adult EVERYONE! genius is found in simple things and by far he is not simple. he is genius!! all of his books are awemazing!! THANK YOU BRIAN FOR WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THROUGH READING YOUR BOOKS!!!!!!
⭐When I was reading this book, I was feeling depressed and having lots of negative emotions. Many times our negative emotions are controlling us and we got really annoyed by people around us. Still trying to install the habits, hopefully I can walk out of it soon.
⭐I found useful techniques and approaches to help deal with challenges in any area of life. Very interesting founding was it doesn’t have to be hard.
⭐I’ve read quite a few books related to this subject, this one by far has been the most helpful and eye opening.The read was shorter than anticipated, but perfect. As someone who has personally struggled with fulfilling their dreams and reaching personal goals on the path to a happier life, nearly every topic covered here has rang true nearly to the word. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with their emotions, relationships, career goals, and then some.
⭐I found this book having some background knowledge about some points the author is writing, however, he is right 100% that knowledge does not mean much if it is not installed and practiced. Small correct habits is what I needed. A huge thank to Brian!!!
⭐I love Knox’s books.. always well written and have simple yet powerful insights.. I already read all his other books.. even though they sounds like they are about dating.. they are more about your own self improvement.

⭐This is a very nice book as others from the author, easy to read with an agreeable language, and what I like most about Brian is that he is really sincere and gentle.
