What is our place in the universe and what happens in the magnificent cosmos where we exist for a brief amount of time. In an unique way that incorporates mythological and philosophical perspectives, the essays in this work address the big questions of what the universe is, how it came into being, and where it may be heading. This exciting adventure is a rich scientific history of elegant physics, mathematics, and cosmology as well as a philosophical and spiritual pursuit fueled by the human imagination.

⭐Every once in awhile you come upon a book that absolutely challenges the way you perceive your surrounding world. Such books debunk the theories that guide your understanding of the world only to open up to a lens that is more complex and more enriching. Santhosh Mathew’s book does just that. For many who read this book, the intertwining of science and Eastern philosophy may be novel, and for that reason, I highly recommend that those readers indulge in the book. It will change the way that science and religion, cosmology and philosophy resonate in the minds of these readers. For other readers, the conjoining of these concepts will mark a continuation of a journey to better understand how these lines of thoughts interact, influence and become intertwined throughout the course of time. In reading this book, concepts that surround us in daily life, such as time, movement and human presence, are repeatedly challenged. Mathew reminds us throughout the book that human understanding is not arrived at through a linear progression and by no means should be simple. Human understanding is complex and ever-changing. Simply said, read this book, challenge your mind, enlighten your heart and mind, and engage in deeper dialogue with one another on how the depth of Eastern philosophy and the weight of science form an infinite world. Read this book and imagine a world where we are more comforted by what we don’t know that what we do know. Mathews envisions that world throughout this book and invites readers to join him in seeing an unfixed, fluid world where complex questions are more inviting than simple answers.Debra LeahyAssociate Provost, Instructor of Literature and Social Science
