Description

This powerful book (illustrated in full colour) exposes the fatal flaws of evolutionary thinking. Like no other work that we are aware of, it is authored by nine Ph.D. scientists to produce a coordinated, coherent, powerful argument. All of the authors received their doctorates from similar secular universities as their evolutionary counterparts. Each is a specialist in a field relevant to the subject written about: Natural selection, origin of life, geology, genetics, radiometric dating, the fossil record, cosmology, and ethics.Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels directly demolishes the very pillars of the belief system that underpins our now-secular culture—evolutionary naturalism. It’s coupled with the Biblical command to reach the lost with the Bible’s Good News. In a nutshell, it’s a comprehensive outreach tool like no other. The nine Ph.D. scientists are Donald Batten, Robert Carter, David Catchpoole, John Hartnett, Mark Harwood, Jim Mason, Jonathan Sarfati, Emil Silvestru and Tasman Walker. Foreword by Carl Wieland and edited by Robert Carter.

⭐This book is a real game changer. I highly recommend it to everyone interested in our real origins. After finishing this book I suddenly realized that my 17 years of higher education was a lie as far as the facts go regarding Darwinism, Evolution, and Natural Selection. Shockingly, ‘Neo-Darwinism’ is simply another belief system just like the system that many scientists employ where they believe in a God/Designer.I am converted after reading up on how strange DNA really is. Amazing. And it will be comforting to you as well knowing that we aren’t just a pile of hopeless stuff squeezed out of some hydro-thermal vent 3.5 billion years ago.I have not been swayed on the ‘Young Earth’ idea yet however. The arrogance of establishment biology is shocking as this book clearly shows. There is no more proof that we evolved from goo to ‘you’ than there is for the so-called intermediate forms, or explaining how mutations, on a genetic level, can create a new species when there is a loss of information, not a gain (increasing complexity). In fact, we are losing information each generation due to mutations, which is scary. This really woke me up. Intelligent design is so clearly displayed that anyone with just a tiny amount of grey matter could easily see it. No better a place to look than in Ch 3 on molecular biology. The beauty of DNA is revealed to us in an expertly written chapter, and how it is so complex that it defies analysis. Beautiful to say the least, and irreducibly complex. It’s a sort-of proof of God right there. It’s the molecular biology that really shocked me.Read it. You’ll understand that someone, God or whatever, designed these extraordinary biomolecules like RNA, DNA, ATPase, etc. There’s no other plausible explanation. You’ll see!Yet, I remain quite angered at establishment science and how they all hoodwinked me into believing this hobgoblin of 150 year old, outdated and never proven theory of “Evolution.”Natural Selection is real but only for the fine tuning of already living, reproducing, creatures. It’s never been shown to make a new animal out of some preexisting life form such as the emergence of birds from reptile-like creatures, etc.Chris

⭐I really enjoyed reading this book. I dual major in Engineering science and mathematics so much of the chemistry and physics makes sense with what I have learned and shown within lab, however the chemistry plays a waaayy bigger role in this book. I would first like to say I believe in the bible and am a Christian but greatly disagree with fundamentalist creationism mainly because of the meaning of the word day used in Hebrew language has been shown to be very loose in that it could mean any period of time. The idea that the Earth is 6000 years old is a presumptuous statement in that the Earth may be younger according to accelerated processes due to the flood but 6000 years old is way to young. They make assumptions to quickly.Pros:The flaws of evolution are outstanding. This book is just a scratch of the surface when it comes to examples. Their interpretation of the facts is only natural as all scientists do it. I agree that life was created and they make devastating cases for creation and against the assumption that natural selection can create life and new ‘kinds’. This is a good starter book IF you have a good understanding of science. I mean not just reading books but having taken college level science courses and done the mathematics. It has more than its fair share of evidence.Cons:This book is NOT for a layman in the sciences. It has its complexities and you would spend a lot of time researching definitions and equations to fully grasp what they say. I recommend reading and meditating carefully so that you just don’t go “oh well there scientists so I believe them” but say to yourself ” YES I understand because I have done the work or have seen the proof of this and it makes sense”.Overall great book and respect their view as Creationists.

⭐This book is a must read for all Christians. It points out that the “science” behind evolution and the “Big Bang” is not nearly as solid as the general press proclaims and public believes. In fact they are theories and guesses that are often more wishful thinking than real science. Those who believe in either or both of these theories will obviously not be convinced, but that should not bother anyone. In fact both these theories have so many problems that it is hard to believe that anyone with the relevant information can believe in them. But then, neither of them are sciences since what they say cannot be confirmed experimentally. They are both theories to give those who will not believe in a Creator God explanations for why we are here and therefore such people have to cling to them even though the supporting proof is very weak in deed. The benefit to those who wish to understand the issues better is that this book gives views and insights that are generally not known and that the general press will never make known since it does not fit their agenda. On a negative note this book will not be an easy read for those who have little science background since by its very nature a fair amount of science has to be quoted and you cannot avoid being technical when doing so. Even so, one can understand what is said without understanding all the technical terms used.In short it does a good job of giving the other side of the story with these theories so that one can know that what we read and is presented to us in the press is very one-sided in the least.

⭐How much do we accept as the truth without ever questioning it, you’ll be surprised? I’m going to read this book again!

⭐Used for education.

⭐a good book

⭐Addresses eight key areas of evolutionary thinking and clearly points out the weaknesses in each of them. Well written and thought provoking, it makes the undeniable case that Darwinism and evolution rests on a series of apriori assumptions that must be taken on faith but which do not meet the criteria of testable science they claim to be part of. This is a thought provoking book and should be a must read for anyone interested in these critical ideas.

⭐The book “Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels” provides discussions of scientific concepts, presented in a clear and concise way, which reflect both traditional views and alternative interpretations of the long-term development of the biological world as well as short-term genetic population adaptations. It is written in a language easy to understand for both laymen and professional biologists. The book contains fresh thinking and new critical re-evaluation of the old Darwinian dogma. Exciting and delightful reading. The authors must be congratulated. The price of the Kindle version of the book is fantastic.
