⭐This is an old book but condition is really really like new hope to get something else again 😉

⭐In my opinion, even though the original edition dates from 1978, most of the book is still up to date. While keeping the level of difficulty quite reasonable, it really expounds non trivial algorithm design techniques. It also introduces the theory of lower-bounds, something often missing in the well-known textbooks.

⭐Thanks. I received the book at an unbelievable low price. And the book is really nice and helpful! I think learn the knowledge inside the book as much as possible is the best way to reward the seller.

⭐This is a good, but not great, book. It keeps the maths low, unlike some books which can be overwhelming at first. But it is quite an old book, so doesn’t have all the latest advances in algorithms and computer science in general. Overall, it is a fine introductory text, but you may want to add the Cormen Algorithms book (or possibly the less intimidating Sedgewick book) to fill in the gaps.

⭐I love this book for being about the only one I have ever met that discusses general-purpose algorithm design techniques in a systematic way. It also features a good coverage of NP-hard problems, while remaining on a very accessible level.

⭐Good so far, but a lot of examples are missing. Of course you can’t compare this with CLRS which is the godfather of all algorithm books. I feel that the chapter on binary trees is kinda incomplete. There could be much more in this book.The best part is that this book does give some sort of a primer on algorithms and computational theory, rather than jumping onto some extremely complex stuff. It however demands strong mathematical understanding otherwise you’d take quite a while understanding what’s going on. A great read for those who have just started out with algorithms. It will help any beginner build their foundations
