⭐I bought this copy of Bradbury’s story collection because I thought I’d misplaced another copy I was reading at an unretrievable location. I received my purchase VERY promptly, I’m pleased to say. I later found my prior copy, and what do you know? The replacement copy was surely the better of the two. I recommend Amazon’s used books–well, at least this transaction was a BIG positive for me!Incidentally, in this collection of fiction, Bradbury honors great writers who preceded him: Whitman, Dickens, and another giant in literature(I don’t want to spoil the story “Any Friend of Nickelby’s is a Friend of Mine” in I Sing the Body Elecric!)Bradbury exhibits a nice variety of settings, styles, and voices in this publication. He’s not a Science Fiction hack. So whether you’re a fan of SciFi or not, I bet you’ll find some pleasant reading in I Sing the Body Electric!

⭐I borrowed the book on CD from the library. What wonderful stories.

⭐What I DISLIKED that the copy I received was so old. The pages were almost orange, worse than “yellowed”. It looks fragile. It looks like the pages will fall out, if I try to read it.

⭐This book has been a favorite of mine for years and years. – My child loaned my only copy and the person NEVER gave it back! – I love the stories in it…and of course the title story of the Electric Grandmother is the embodiment of unconditional love and eternal memory. I will never let anyone take this book again. Bury it with me!

⭐This book has a lot of good stories, but the best one, the one he’s little known for is I sing the Body Electric. I recommend it for all children to read or be read too. The story is a wonderful outlet for fantasy and dreams

⭐This is an amazing collection of beautifully-written, progressive short stories by a master of fiction. Ray Bradbury was decades ahead of his time, and this is a great place to start if you’re unfamiliar with his work. Cannot recommend it highly enough – a haunting, dazzling read.
